Acceptable formats for Abstracts, Documentation, Graphics

Hi

Here: http://circuitcellar.com/wiznet2014/rules/ I read:

I hope this is a joke, right?

I’d like to participate in the challenge. WIZnet is promoting use of open source hardware which I appreciate a lot.

But if participants only can submit with proprietary or non-free formats (doc, jpg, gif), I (and others) which use open source software exclusively just won’t participate.

Most open source hardware projects have a code repository and a web page with all the documentation, wouldn’t a couple of links not be enough as contest entry for those?

I ask you kindly to reconsider your accepted formats so that really everyone can participate:
Graphics: PNG, SVG
Documentation: TXT, (LA)TEX, OpenOffice/LibreOffice, PDF, HTML

I agree with your opinion.
As we host this event with CirCuit Cellar, I’ll discuss it with them and reply to you.

Thanks for your interest.

I have just seen that the accepted file formats have been changed by CirCuit Cellar.
