W5500 Power Down

Dear wiznet

It states in the datasheet of the w5500 that it has a power down mode, but the datasheet doesnt have much information about it. Can you please explain some more ?

  • What can be done in power down?
  • Is it possible to receive WOL in power down ?

As a side thing i would also like to know when the W550IO will be available for buying - it is “out of stock” in your shop.

Dear customer,
Thanks for your interest in W5500

If you use the power down mode, the PHY section in W5500 will turn off.
Hence, W5500 can’t use WOL function in power down mode.

WIZ550io will be available in early October.
