SPI clock speed - Simple question

Hello,

I have read that the max clock for W5500 SPI clock is 80MHz (or 33MHz in practical) but what I want to know is, is there a minimum clock speed? If I got a clock of 20 or 10 MHz, will it work?

I saw another user asking the same question but it ended up speaking in russian on the topic concerned :frowning:

Thanks in advance for the answers,

Vermu.

Hello Vermu,

Thank you for your interest in W5500.

In conclusion, there is no specific SPI minimum speed and you can use SPI clock lower than 1Khz.

SPI is sync interface. So only needed to be careful max clock (33MHz).

I do not know what you want to do but I thick no need to worry about SPI minimum clock. ^^

Thank you ,
