difference between hardware and software reset

hi,
i m using w5200 and need to reset w5200.
so would you please let me know are there any difference between nRST (pin 46) and register MR(bit 7 RST) ?

Hi.

It is same reset.
RSTn pin is hardware reset and MR registers reset is Software reset.

If MR registers reset bit is ‘1’, internal register will be initialized. It will be
automatically cleared after reset.

So i understand that nRST and MR bit functionality is absolutely same aspect of software and physical connection control.
then I can use MR bit for w5200 initialize.
