If Two W5500 in Point to Point Communication (Without Switch/Router) - Will work with Straight Cable?
Cross Cable is Working, But Straight Not Working!
Are there any Settings to Enable?
I believe that’s expected.
Since W5500 cannot sense tx and rx. If using W5500 to W5500, the cross cable has to be used.
Hello,
W5500 does not support auto-MDIX feature.
Thus, user should use straight-through cables to connect to other switches or routers and
crossover cables to connect to devices such as servers, workstations or another W5500.
However, user can use either type of cable to connect to other devices with auto-MDIX
enabled, and the interface automatically corrects for any incorrect cabling.
